In 2010, Coach Loescher started a new tradition of honoring the jerseys of great leaders in team history. Instead of ‘retiring’ the jersey numbers where the legacy of the hard work could be forgotten, jerseys are honored. As new players receive an honor jersey, they are told the story of the player who is being honored. This allows the new players to connect to those who have worked hard to establish the program.
The honor jerseys are on display in Coach Loescher’s room.

Adam was always known for his infectious enthusiasm, and ability to ‘chatter’ constantly on the field. Adam helped create a culture of success that has continued since his first day as a part of the program. If Adam had been at ODCS for all 4 years, there is no doubt he would own numerous batting records.
#24 Tyler Haas
Tyler “Avocados” Haas was a 4 year letter winner at ODCS. Tyler lost his Senior season to an injury but still managed to make his mark on the Patriot record book. His Junior Season was one of the finest single seasons in school history marked by his .534 average with 29 RBI and 34 hits. Tyler was the leader of the outfield that was affectionately known as the “Black Hole.” The name was given in honor of their remarkable ability to catch every flyball, “the black hole, where baseballs go to die.” Tyler was part of a three year stretch that saw the Patriots become the sectional #1 seed twice, and post record win totals.
