Mission: To teach athletes of all skill levels how to play the game of baseball while demonstrating God’s Love in teaching and shaping the next generation of leaders.
Why: After years of coaching baseball (Varsity, Travel, Rec), the call to create a league that stresses the fundamentals and character became apparent. Players can learn baseball at a high level while having fun and not forcing families to to sacrifice family time and financial resources. Game success is not the focus, but continual improvement and instruction.
Ages: We started the academy 7 seasons ago and have offered various age groups over the years. This season we will just be offering Rookie Ball Ages 7-10 and High School League for Summer Programs. Players may play up based upon ability and or enter the league early, please contact Coach Loescher (mloescher@odcs.org) with any questions. Many of our practices/camps are league wide so players of all levels will receive the same instruction in how to play the game.
